This artwork depicts the crown of an alien king, made of living tissue. Complete with eyes, coarse skin, and other organs. We often associate royal regalia with inanimate objects made of gems or metal, so I found the idea of a crown made of flesh to be quite interesting. This piece was heavily inspired by the works of C.M. Kösemen, particularly his “Organic Houses” series.
