The dog is a typical Khmer breed, representing simplicity and minimalism. I completed the drawing several times but kept revisiting it, unsatisfied with the fur’s appearance. Ultimately, I’m very satisfied with how I captured the calmness in his expression. The artwork conveys vulnerability through a scarcity of choices.
